Photography in the rain

After a rainstorm plants are covered in beautiful water droplets. The water droplets create texture and bring out patterns in the flower. A macro lens is perfect for taking photos after the rain and you can really get up close to the flower.

I enjoy looking at the flowers after the rain as it makes them much more interesting to look and observe. When taking photos in the rain you can make them look effortlessly professional! You don’t have to have a professional macro lens you can just use the macro setting on your camera. I have a bridge camera and the macro setting is perfect!

Photography at Kew Gardens

Recently I went to Kew Gardens on a photography walk/trip. Kew is full of beautiful flowers and plants in the amazing green houses! The light in the green houses is great for taking macro photos and I was very pleased with how some of the turned out!

I took this photo by accident actually but I think it looks quite abstract and interesting!
